Welcome to the 3rd Workshop on Optimization We have the honor to invite you to participate to the 3rd workshop on optimization, which will be held on May 17, 2011, in the Faculty of Science, K.N.Toosi University of Technology, Tehran, Iran. This workshop is organized jointly by the Departments of Mathematics and Industrial Engineering of K.N.Toosi University of Technology and SCOPE research center. The workshop continues in the line of the SCOPE workshops, starting the first which held in 2009 and followed by the second in 2010. Our workshop aims at a more exhaustive study of optimization and optimal decision making towards engineering applications. We also aim to provide a forum for researchers and practitioners in continuous optimization and related applications in engineering sciences to discuss and exchange their latest works.
